It was really strange being back at work today.
I went in early to catch up with my paperwork to find it had all been done. I was stunned.
Although, several staff seemed to be missing. 1 quit, 2 changed their hours to just 1 day a week and 1 off with a back injury. Makes me wonder what happened whilst I was away.
I managed to get the workbook completed, and as a result, my brain hurts 
But seriously, I think it was a great book and when I get back, I will have a better read of it when I am not rushed to complete it. I doubt I remember anything from it at all.
I’ll take the next couple of days to get ready and just relax. I’m sure I will need the rest.
Because of this workbook, My shift has been swapped to an open so I can be in the store whilst it is open for longer.
Means I have to get up super early after getting home late, but I get to go home earlier tomorrow….which is better in my opinion.
Now…time to relax
…I wonder what DVD to watch……
| I have just been handed a management workbook by my boss. It’s a two week ‘on the floor’ work book. I had a flip through it and it looks like a really good book.Has all sorts of things like dealing with customers and crew. There is a lot that can be learnt from it.

I left for work early today. We were going to have a surprise operations review. I have been around so long that I can find out about these things through my vast contact list of friends that still work throughout the company.
I say “left early” but I had to tinker with my car for a good 10 minutes. I took it in to have a quick service a couple of weeks ago. One of the things they ‘fixed’ was leaky pipes on power steering.
